EKHO

The slightest sound resonates through the air and through the very landscape. Over time, however, the sounds have retreated from the lands, twisted by the sadness and have become still and silent. Yet the songs are still strong and not forgotten, lying in wait to be discovered once again. Musicality is the lore of Ekho, all creatures here respond to the highs and lows, ebbs and flows of the eternal vibrations. There is a tonal law at work here. It delves into the deepest, darkest corners of reality. It is a dark song that can divide and crush hope in those that hear it. This world has endured endless suffering and now revels in its own horrific pain, even rejoicing in it. The song of darkness will be sung.

IN SILENCE AND IN SONG
Excerpt from the Ekhodian Song book of Ultimate Wisdom

The music is the Great Song. It sings to us through note and through beat. It sings us songs of doom, of the creatures pink and blue. Through the vision of the Great Song, we must destroy them. The strange other world creatures must know pain and must know death. We must lead them through the Ekho domain to their ultimate demise. They are the enemies of Ekho, of the Song, and us all. We must be subtle in our luring, try not to scare them off. “They like to play,” says the Song, “so let them play until the end.” We shall lead them to his black place, capture them in darkest night. Then shall the Great Song crescendo, we shall sing happy songs to their death. Their coda will be darkness. Forever gone. The Great Song will praise us in his glory. Huzzall to thy name!

ETERNAL STILLNESS
Excerpt from the Ekhodian Song book of Ultimate Wisdom

The Great Song sings us songs of doom. This is our enlightenment. The stillness, the great beat chimes out for an eternity. When we hear the Great Song, we shall finally know death, and be forever in his embrace. It is not something to fear, no, it is our duty. The Great Song has sung to us for millennia, readying us for our time. He is patient in his wisdom, knows that one day they will come. They must come, will come, and he wants us to be ready. We honour the Great Song, and the doom that he will strike upon us. We bow before him. Time and place will disappear, fade away and be gone. And we will be part of the nothing, the then. Huzzall to thy name!

RESONATING LIFE
Excerpt from the Ekhodian Song book of Ultimate Wisdom

The Great Song has ordained the world to be thus: Ekho floats on a giant bass drum the size of a continent, the beating of which is heard in our quietest moments, when all else is silent. This bass drum balances on a pipe organ that shrinks away, smaller and smaller, until at the end, past all visible sight and past all audible sound, there are only strings. This is the stuff of our world; the vibrations of these elemental strings give rise to the musicality of the Universe. We are all music, each and every thing vibrating to its own tune. This is how we listen to the Great Song. This is how we know the pink and blue have no tune, no music, and no strings. They do not belong here. They are not of us. They are the enemy of Ekho and the Song. Huzzall to thy name!
