Imagine mashing up the point click adventure games of the 90’s with the retro gaming action of the 80’s; throw in some neo-pop, edgy cute rabbits together with a huge range of contemporary environment art and game design and it will give you a good insight to what Double Happy Vs. The Infinite Sadness is all about.

A unique twist to the game design, is that we will be inviting the community to help conceptualize many of these game worlds.
Double Happy is a game created by artists, for artists. Each game level (what we call 'Islands') has its own unique hyper reality with its very own art style. This diversity means that we put the power back into the hands of the artist. The game is being carefully designed to support this eclectic mix of art styles, giving incredible variety to ensure the game is surprising, fresh and intriguing. Artists can forget having to force fit their work to meet our requirements, they can just concentrate on doing what they do best; awesome art, great stories and brilliant music.
In the coming months, we’ll be running a range of competitions from story, art and music to Rabbit Hunts, Lucky Draws and most importantly, competitions to conceptualise some of the game elements! We've also got giveaways and a bunch of free content, as well as some great merchandise too.
We’ll also be giving behind the game breakdowns of some of our development processes, to give you a clear insight into how we are shaping the islands of Double Happy into an artistically diverse and strikingly unique adventure game that will pull you in and not let go. OUR DOUBLE HAPPY PHILOSOPHY
Double Happy is a the age old story of good vs. evil and explores every shade, colour, tint and hue of it along the way. Every culture worldwide has had this as the basis for millions of stories, tales and belief systems throughout history. Double Happy vs. The Infinite Sadness is an adaptation of this eternal struggle and while players will explore exquisitely detailed and culturally diverse worlds they will also often be faced with difficult ethical and moral dilemmas hidden within a variety of intriguing puzzles and mini games. It is our goal to reflect this cultural diversity through story, art and music.
To create this living breathing universe, we believe it can't be created in isolation; as such it is our mantra to involve as many artists as possible to help realise the vision of Double Happy and bring it to life. Whilst delivering a contemporary adventure game, we also want to promote our community of artists and contributors as much as possible featuring Fan Artists and Double Happy Artists alike. These artists are the ones at the forefront of this game, not the production company.

We are in the process of proving to our investors that Double Happy Vs The Infinite Sadness is a game worth making, so we can trigger the resources required to bring the Isles of the Ancients to life.
